The basic principle of sound healing is the concept of resonance (the vibratory frequency of an object). The entire Universe is in a state of vibration. This includes human beings. If we are not resonating with some part of ourselves or our surroundings, we become dissonant and therefore unhealthy. Our naturally healthy frequency becomes a frequency that vibrates without harmony, creating illness.

Sound Healing is the application of Healing frequencies to the physical and subtle energy fields around the body. These healing or therapeutic frequencies and sounds are delivered via sound therapy sessions using a variety of sound healing tools such as Tuning forks, Tibetan singing bowls, quartz crystal bowls, gongs.

Sound Therapy Certification Course- LEVEL 2 from Sound meditation India is a build up on the Level-1 course and presents strong emphasis on how Sound and Vibration can be as a therapeutic practice.  

• It includes the following areas of study:

  • Sound effects on meridians.
  • Subject of Sonocytology.
  • Vibrational Sound therapy.
  • Learn how to heal using singing bowls while bringing them in contact with individuals.
  • Introduction to Gongs.
  • Introduction to tuning forks and how they can be used for sound Therapy.
  • Different Patterns to heal chronic aches and pains of the body.
  • Back massage and therapy using singing bowls.
  • Frontal body massage therapy using singing bowls.
  • Feet massage and therapy using singing bowls..

Trainees will be able to

• Practice and lead sound meditation/healing and therapy sessions.  
• Confidently construct a class for their students.  
• Learn the nuances of using sound healing/therapy for their own and their students’ mental and physical wellbeing. 
•  Learn how to combine Tibetan singing bowl healing therapy with Asana, Pranayama and Meditation.

Pre-requisite

• Students applying for the course should have completed the  Sound meditation Course Level – 1.
• In case of Practitioners having major injuries, chronic health issues or psychological issues, it must be communicated before the start of the course

Evaluation criteria

• The trainee is expected to attend all the classes during the course. Students are expected to conduct a mock session at the end of the course to receive the course completion certificate

Regular fees: Rs 29,900/-

The fee can be transferred electronically. In the event of discontinuation of the course, the fee shall not be refunded, irrespective of the reason for discontinuation.

1. Do I need any prior knowledge of Yoga, Meditation or Music to join the course?
   Students applying for the course should have completed the  Sound meditation Course Level – 1.
2. Do I need to have a set of bowls to attend the course?
   If you are attending the course in-person – No bowls are required, you will be provided with bowls at the center to gain practical experience.
   If you are attending the course online – Yes, you will require your own set of bowls.?
3. I  wish to attend the course online, but do not have a set of bowls, Can I still attend the course?
   It is strongly recommended that you have or purchase a set of bowls before the start of the course as you’ll be learning how to use the bowls practically.
